The Dream

Leadership for me does not mean a big fancy title with an office and servants. For me it is just being a good person, a present person, who is always there for people to look up to, ask questions to, and know that they are on their side and will always help them. I currently don't have any plans in my immediate near future to take a leadership position at Creighton University. I hope that one day I can come into a role that I can find great pride and joy in and realize my true potential as a prepared and trained leader. I do, however, see myself continuing on within the Freshman Leadership Program and guiding young freshmen, like me, through the program. Next year, I will be a mentor for six bright, talented, young, and experienced leaders, who, after this program, will enhance their leadership abilities. I hope to one day in the future take on an executive position within the program. As for my fraternity, I am hoping that one day I will find a position that I could maintain and serve as apart of the executive team there as well. I have learned through coming to Creighton that I really enjoy service and different event supporting causes as well. I hope to one day become the Vice President of the Service and Philanthropy committee where I can use my love and passion of service and help others throughout my fraternity with different ideas and running the philanthropy events as well as being in charge of service hours. Starting last summer I took a position at Children's Hospital and Medical Center as a phlebotomist and I hope to continue my leadership success there and create more future opportunities for me to enhance my knowledge within the medical field.
